As a kid and as an adult I’ve always loved going to amusement parks. Carowinds, in North Carolina, Magic Mountain, in California, or Disney World in Florida. They offer some fun and entertaining adventures.
One of the big attractions of these parks are the rollercoasters. Magic Mountain once had the world’s highest wooden roller coaster, the Colossus, when it opened in 1978. Eventually things got bigger and better but for 36 years it remained the tallest, fastest wooden roller coaster in the west. In 2014, while being disassembled for renovation a fire broke out.
At Universal Studios in Orlando, the Dueling Dragons coaster which was later changed to fit the Harry Potter theme, had a limit of the number of times one could ride back to back. An under the rail ride, this one made you unbalanced once you exited the ride.
I happen to come across an amusement park in Holland called Walibi. They put out a video promoting their Untamed rollercoaster, a hybrid coaster. It is a wooden construction with steel track mounted on top. The video was unique and sort of amusing as they buckled in 22 large teddy bears for the ride. Hope you enjoy the YouTube video.
