Creativity

There are those who have the ability to perceive the world in new ways. Steve Jobs and the iPod. Stephen King with the horror novel. Prince and music. Countless others have brought something new into being. I admire the works of creative people.

These innovative ways of bringing seemly ordinary thoughts and things and see them differently can come easily as if they were there all along but no one noticed. Or it is a hard toll to extract from the subconscious to reality. Adam Grant, an organizational psychologist, said, “The greatest originals are the ones who fail the most because they’re the ones who try the most. You need a lot of bad ideas in order to get a few good ones.”

Whether easy or hard, we still have it in us to be creative, if not in art, maybe in just solving a household problem.

“Every child is an artist, the problem is staying an artist when you grow up” – Pablo Picasso

What follows is a series of images of which I find extremely creative. These three photos were done by Cream Studios for The Glue Society called “God’s Eye View.” It answers the question, What if satellite photography had been around in biblical times?
